HiWith (hiwith.ai and the HiWith apps) is made by Winding AI, Inc. This page says what we collect, why, who helps us, and how to get anything deleted. Questions: hello@hiwith.ai.

The short version

  • Your photos (and your kids’ photos) are private. Only you see the previews. A card is public only to people you send its link to.
  • We use a photo only to make the card you asked for. We never use it to train AI models, ours or anyone else’s, and we never sell it.
  • Photos and previews of cards you don’t keep are deleted automatically after 30 days. When you buy a card we keep its photo and pictures so the card keeps working, until you delete it.
  • You can delete any card, photo or your whole account at any time, from My cards or by emailing us.

Photos

When you add a photo, we store it in our private storage (Cloudflare R2) and send it to the image and video models that draw your card (today through OpenRouter, Google and Kling, and Runware). Those providers process it to return your picture and are not allowed to keep it or train on it. Previews carry a watermark and are served through short-lived private links.

Kids’ photos: by adding a photo of a child you confirm you’re their parent or have permission. We don’t ask for a child’s full name, birthday or school. The first name and age you type are used only on that card.

What else we collect

  • Your email, if you give one at checkout or to sign in, so we can send your receipt, your card link and the renewal reminder. We don’t send marketing email without asking.
  • Payment details go straight to Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Stripe also collects device and usage data to prevent fraud, under its own privacy policy.
  • Usage analytics: we use PostHog (product analytics, through our own domain), Google Analytics 4 (marketing) and the Meta Pixel and Conversions API (to measure our ads). They see pages visited, buttons tapped and purchases, never your photos, messages or names. Session recordings mask everything you type.
  • Error reports (Sentry), without IP addresses.

Your choices

  • If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, we don’t load Google or Meta tags on our site.
  • You can ask us for a copy of your data, or to delete it, at hello@hiwith.ai. We answer within 30 days (usually much faster).
  • California, EU and UK residents have rights to access, correct, delete and port their data, and to opt out of “sharing” for ads. Email us to use any of them.

How long we keep things

  • Photos and previews of cards you didn’t buy: 30 days.
  • Bought cards: until you delete them or your account.
  • Receipts and payment records: as long as tax law requires (usually 7 years).

Children

HiWith is for adults (parents, grandparents, friends) making cards. It isn’t meant for children to use on their own, and we don’t knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we’ll say so on this page and, if you have an account, by email before it takes effect.
